A year later Apple offered this uniquely powerful operating system to third-party app developers. Each release has taken it further and in the summer of 2010 it was re-branded as iOS. With iOS 5, Apple has integrated technologies previously reserved for desktop computers. With that in mind, here are a few things you should be familiar with before we get started.
