Reflections Using Two Mirrors

Now let’s take a look at a two-mirror situation. Two mirrors can provide a unique way of looking at the whole room in one shot. They also can show different views of a bride’s dress. If the mirrors are scattered across the room, you could challenge yourself and try to have a story in each mirror. Pushing yourself to attempt techniques that are out of your comfort zone will make you more skilled at your craft. Your arsenal of techniques will just keep getting bigger and bigger.

Another technique worth learning is how to best photograph a situation where two mirrors face each other. Image 9.6 shows an example where a bride’s room was furnished with double mirrors. However, there was no natural light in this room. The light used here to illuminate the bride was a Lowell video light.
