7. Shadows

IMPLEMENTING SHADOWS in photography is where things start getting really interesting. I have seen photographs that have used shadows so creatively that it was a visual pleasure just to see. I felt as if my eyes were entertained everywhere in the photograph. The reason why shadows are so interesting is simply because you can create a visual message that is not so literal. Shadows bring a sense of mystery and graphics to a photograph, and the viewer must use his/her imagination to fill in the missing pieces.
