Messaging Application Settings
You can manage how the Messages application manages incoming and outgoing messages from the Settings menu. Before you compose your first message, let’s take a closer look at this application’s settings.
1. From the main screen (the All Messages screen) press the Menu button and then tap Settings.
2. Tap Notifications to configure how your EVO 3D responds when you receive a message. Within the Notifications settings, you can decide whether or not to receive a visual or audible notification when messages are received, sent, or when a message cannot be sent.
3. Tap Text Messages (SMS) to change the priority settings for messages from Normal to High, and to instruct your EVO 3D to support or not to support foreign accent characters. By default, your EVO 3D supports special accent characters.
