Composing Messages

You can compose a new message several different ways. You can tap the button that looks like a pen in the top-right corner of the All Messages screen, or you can press the Menu button and choose Compose from any screen within the Messages app.

1. Tap to compose a new message.

2. Type the phone number of the recipient. If the recipient is in your Contacts, type her name and then tap the name in the contacts results list or tap the Contacts icon to the right of the field and tap a name.
