The great thing about Siri is that you don’t have to think too much about how you phrase a command, question, or request. Siri automatically interprets what you say. However, after you activate Siri, you must wait until you hear the activation tone before you begin speaking. Siri is active only when the microphone icon appears purple. If the icon appears in just silver and gray, you must tap on it to reactivate the feature.

When you’re finished issuing your command or request or asking a question, simply stop speaking. If additional information is required, Siri will prompt you for it as needed.
