Take Advantage of the Digital Publication Reading Experience

Unlike visiting a website that’s associated with a newspaper or magazine, when you read a digital publication on your iPhone or iPad, what you’ll read is almost always the same content as what appears in the printed publication, in terms of the articles, photos, and ads. Even the page layouts are often virtually identical, as you can see in Figure 6.11, which shows the Contents screen from an issue of People magazine’s digital edition. Whereas in the printed magazine this is a static page, in iPad edition the two columns of People magazine’s Contents page are scrollable using your finger.
