Organize information consistently

Consistent organization helps users become familiar with the structure of information so that they can find what they need with confidence. When you present information consistently, users learn to predict what information they will find and where they will find it.

Organizing information consistently also helps ensure that the information is complete. Therefore, this guideline is similar to the completeness guideline “Use patterns of information to ensure proper coverage” on page 90.
