    Adjusting the Brightness

    The iPhone screen is very bright, and it automatically adjusts under certain conditions to conserve battery life. But, if you want to manually adjust the brightness, you can. Tap the Brightness button in the Settings screen and drag the slider to the left to make the screen dimmer or to the right to make it brighter. You can also turn off Auto-Brightness if you like by tapping on the ON/OFF button.
