Your Data in the iCloud

The most common use for iCloud syncing is data, like Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Bookmarks, and Notes. The advantage of using iCloud to sync this data is that you can update it on your computer or your iPhone and it will update in the other place over the air. You can also edit or view your data at www.iCloud.com. If you’re on a Mac running Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or greater, the built-in applications like Address Book, iCal, Safari, and Mail support iCloud syncing. It works well and it’s very seamless. If you’re on a Windows PC, you can use Outlook 2007 or 2010 and an up-to-date version of your Web browser. Apple makes an iCloud Control Panel for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
