Dialing a Phone Number on a Webpage
If you’re looking at a webpage that has a phone number on it, chances are your iPhone will recognize it as a phone number and it will be highlighted or show up as a Call button. You can tap the phone number or Call button and your iPhone will ask you whether or not you want to dial it. If you tap Call, it calls that number. Once you tap End Call, you’ll be returned to the webpage you were looking at last.
iTip: Open a Link in Safari to a New Page
If you tap a link on a webpage, Safari will open that link in the same page you were just viewing. But, if you tap-and-hold on a link, you’ll get the option to open that link in a new page. This way you can go back and forth between the two webpages.
