Siri makes working with time functions on your iPhone great. While it’s easy to manually create events, reminders, alarms, and such, it’s even easier to just speak to your iPhone to create and mange these items.
You can use Siri to speak events you want to create. While you can’t use Siri to create as many details, it is a great way to create a basic event. You can always go back and edit events in the Calendar app as explained previously. To create an event by speaking, do the following steps:
1. Press and hold the Home button, or the center part of the buttons on the earbuds, until you hear the Siri chime; or tap the Microphone icon if Siri is already active. The “What can I help you with?” text appears along with the microphone icon, which is shaded in purple. This indicates Siri is ready for your command.
