Now that you have gotten an overview of wireless networking, put some thought into planning your wireless network, and purchased the stuff you need to build it, it’s time to start putting it together. “Finally,” you may be saying to yourself, but trust us, every minute you put into some thought up front will save you hours of frustration later on.

The next step is to start building the network. If it’s the first time you have ever built a home network, don’t worry, we will keep the steps straightforward and easy to understand. If you are upgrading your network to wireless or extending your wireless network’s capabilities, again we will give you the information you need to build a solid and secure wireless network. Even if you have built a wireless network before, you may learn a thing or two (we do just about every time we build one).
