I really like the case studies and how properties are explained then the shorthand is given so you can see what the values means.

This is not an exhaustive book on the subject of what can be done with css transitions, transforms, and animations but a quick read that will get you up to speed.  I've been using transitions for a couple of weeks but didn't  really understand transforms until reading this book today.
