iOS Integration: An iTunes Match Killer Feature

Let’s face it: It’s going to be a long time until Apple starts offering iOS devices with huge amounts of storage. At the time of this writing, the largest iOS devices—iPads, iPhones, and iPod touches—max out at a relatively paltry 64GB of storage. The point being, it’s tough for an app- and movie-loving iOS device owner to store his entire music library on one of Apple’s multitouch products.

iTunes Match alleviates that problem. Instead of keeping all of your music on your iOS device, you connect your device to iTunes Match, and grab music from the cloud as you need it. (Reminder: Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch must be running iOS 5 or later for iTunes Match to work.)The trade-off, however, is that this requires an Internet connection.
