iTunes Match packs in an impressively large feature set for $24.99/year. But, the service isn’t without its limits.

First, there are hardware limits. You must be running iTunes 10.5.1 or later on your computer, and you must be running iOS 5.0.1 or later on your iOS devices. Only the iPhone 3GS or newer, iPod touch third generation or newer, and all iPads support the service.

You’re also limited to connecting, at most, ten devices to a single iTunes Match account. That includes computers, iOS devices, and Apple TVs. You can use any permutation of those devices you want, so long as you don’t exceed ten such devices sharing the same iTunes Match library.
