Choosing Your Language 57 Choosing Your Language It's no secret that as our connections spread across the globe and our work moves across geographical lines, learning to work with different languages and translation tools becomes increasingly important. As a worldwide company, Microsoft has been working with language needs for a while, but they haven't been able to make the task simple for users. In Windows 8, you can use a simpli- fied process to find and choose the language you want Windows 8 to display. >>>step-by-step 1. 2. 3. In the PC Settings window, tap or click General. Scroll down to the Language area. Tap or click the link Go to Language in Control Panel. The Language dialog box appears. To add a new language, tap or click Add a Language at the top of the dialog box. In the Add Languages dialog box, scroll down to the language you want to add. Tap or click the language. Tap or click Open. If prompted, choose the dialect you need.
