Appendix B Sample link budget Scenario: A major news event has occurred at Buckingham Palace in London, and an SNG uplink is going to be set-up to provide live coverage. The uplink is working onto a Eutelsat satellite, and the digi- tal 8 Mbps TV signal is going to be downlinked at a number of locations, including a teleport in London.
