Export to ProRes Using QuickTime Movie 1 Highlight the file or Sequence you wish to convert in the Browser of Final Cut Pro. Clear `in' and `out' points in the clip or Sequence, otherwise these will define the duration of the section being exported. 2 3 Choose File and then Export QuickTime Movie. Click where Current Settings is displayed and a drop-down menu will appear. Here you have a list of settings to choose from including different sizes and frame- rates. Choose the ProRes setting to which you wish to encode your video. At the top of the window that now appears you should name your file and choose where you wish the file to be saved.
