Albums and stacks If a photo is part of a stack and you drag it to an album, all the images in the stack go into the album. Deleting a stack from an album can be tricky. When a stack of images is in an album, you cannot delete one photo from the stack (to remove it from the album). You have to delete the entire stack at once from the album. The easiest way to do this is to close the stack and then select it and press the Delete key. If the stack is open, you must select all the images in the stack and then press Delete. This process can be particularly Smart albums · Smart albums are basically saved searches. · How they're the same as regular albums: The photos they hold have not been moved; they are still in their designated projects. · How they're different from regular albums: You don't add photos to a smart album by dragging and dropping; Aper- ture finds the photos for the smart album based on search criteria you choose. · Smart albums are purple; regular albums are blue. Creating a smart album When you create a smart album, a Smart Settings box pops up. In that box you choose the criteria you want to use to find photos. You can search for photos based on Ratings, Labels, Keywords, and more. You can choose one, two, five, or more criteria; it's
