Adding slides In addition to your photos, you may find it useful to add blank slides with or without text. You can use a blank slide with text at the beginning to create your own title slide. And you could do the same for an ending slide. To add these slides, go to the Action menu (gear icon) above the thumbnail strip on the left. There, you can choose to insert a blank slide with or without text. The blank slide will show up in the thumbnail strip. You can drag it to where you want it in the slideshow. To add your own text to the slide, double-click where it says "Text
