NAVIGATING THE CONTRACTING MEETING

Reaching agreement on how you will work with a client can follow a logical sequence. Outlined in Figure 2 is a series of steps that lead to either an agreement to work together or an agreement not to work together. Using this model will ensure that you are adequately completing the business of the contracting phase. In describing the sequence of steps below, I give you both a clear statement of each task to be accomplished and also what an authentic way of accomplishing the task would look like.
