My First Experience of Event Marketing

The first event that I became aware of as having something special about it was a small agricultural show that ran annually in a rural district close to my hometown in Scotland when I was a child. There were animals and farm machinery, some fairground rides, and lots to eat. What was special about it was that it always rained. No matter what the weather was like that week, the clouds would roll in and sure enough, the heavens would open. That was what made it special.
