Seek out other titles in the Kogan Page Testing Series containing this sort of question, and make it a habit to read a quality newspaper every day and economic and political weekly journals. Take encouragement from the fact that with practice you can show dramatic improvements in your score in this type of sub-test. In time you will gain further in confidence, accuracy and speed. It will take time but if the opportunity towards which you are working is something you really want, then simply go for it. You have already begun the process of dramatically improving your score, so take encouragement. The vast majority of candidates will discover that they need more practice the hard way by failing a real test. You are already ahead of them so track down sufficient practice material on which to work and get started in plenty of time. If you obtained this score then you have continued to demonstrate the necessary speed, accuracy, confidence and familiarity in these key operations. Once you have done all three tests, concentrate the remaining time before your real test on further practice on material relevant to more advanced numerical operations and other sub-tests so that you can perform to this high standard in all aspects of the challenge.
