By actively collaborating with all the groups that directly touch the customer, marketing can both take the steps to ensure that it is hearing that voice and then act to ensure that the customer's experi- ence is expertly managed. The array of relationships that are most critical and deserve the most attention will depend on the nature of the enterprise.
