The view I felt most through out the book was from about 20,000 feet.  Ok, maybe 10,000 feet.  Th e point being most of the info while very informative left me hang-gliding over most topics.  Only rarely did we get into any elbow grease and roll up the shirt sleeves.  When we did it was great.
I must admit however the amount and volume of the total scope is a lot to put into one book.  Overall the book was very well done and addressed the limits of the subject matter appropriately...
