MS-HUG

Much of the world’s infrastructure runs on Microsoft server, networking, database, and infrastructure technologies. By bringing teams of individuals together to form a user group, Microsoft facilitates the open collaboration among the group. This ultimately improves the capabilities of the underlying technologies as best practices, research, and technology solutions are shared among group members. The Microsoft Health Users Group (MS-HUG), www.mshug.org, joined forces with HIMSS in 2003 when HIMSS created an alliance program with large vendor-driven healthcare user groups. Both Microsoft and Cisco user groups are managed by HIMSS, with a careful eye to serving HIMSS’s members.
