Chapter 8: Recording Your Bank Entries > Repeating Recurring Entries

Repeating Recurring Entries

Designating recurring entries is extremely useful. Doing so speeds up the processing of data and saves time because you enter the information only once, at the set-up stage, and then process all future transactions with the click of a button. You don’t have to re-enter the full details of those transactions again!

You can treat many different transactions as recurring items, although they’re typically direct debits and standing orders. The next sections give you an explanation of the different types of transactions you can set up as recurring.

Going for consistency with your bank entries
