Printing Invoices and Credit Notes

We assume that you’ve already set up your printer. If you’ve ever printed anything, your printer is already set up. Really. We also assume that if you’re going to print on blank letterhead you have letterhead lying around. If you decide to use preprinted forms, we assume that you’ve ordered those forms and received them.

Setting up the invoice printer

You need to set up the invoice printer only once, but you need to specify a handful of general invoice-printing rules. These rules also apply to credit notes and purchase orders, by the way.

To set up your printer for invoice printing, follow these steps:

1. Choose File⇒Printer Setup. From the Form Name drop-down list, choose Invoice.
