The PRINCE2 project management team consists of a variety of roles that ensure a broad perspective is represented when making key project decisions and that the right collection of skill is available to direct, manage, and deliver the project. In this section, you’ll see the responsibilities of all the PRINCE2 roles.
The Project Board
The Project Board consists of three main roles: the Executive, the Senior Users, and the Senior Suppliers. I’ll show you how these roles come together to ensure that the project is directed effectively and that important project decisions are made in a timely, informed way.
Executive
As stated earlier, in the section “The Business Interest,” the Executive role represents the business interest in the project. The Executive is focused on whether the project is delivering value for money and creates an adequate return on the project’s investment.
