Issue and Change Control Procedure
The three types of issues (request for change, off-specification, and problems or concerns) are managed using the issue and change control procedure. As you can see in Figure 8.2, this procedure is made up of five activities: capture, examine, propose, decide, and implement. You will learn what happens in each activity in the following subsections.

For any project, the project management team will need to decide how to tailor the PRINCE2 issue and change control procedure for their project. The Project Manager will document this tailored procedure in the Configuration Management Strategy during the initiation stage. You will learn more about the Configuration Management Strategy later in this chapter.
