Fine-Tuning Exposure

The Nikon Coolpix P7100 can provide the best of two worlds when it comes to capturing exactly the right exposure—a picture with the optimum balance of tones and colors that are neither too light nor too dark to reveal all the detail in the original subject. You can select one of the numerous predefined shooting modes suitable for specific subject matter—such as portrait, landscape, underwater, sports, or beach—and the camera will do an excellent job of calculating the right settings to give you an outstanding picture with little input on your part beyond the initial mode dial selection.
