    Playback Menu

    The Playback menu has ten entries where you select options related to the display, review, editing, and printing of the photos you’ve taken. The choices you’ll find include the following entries (the last three, Resize, Crop, and Edit Movie are not pictured in Figure 8.1, and don’t appear until you scroll the listing to the bottom). You must have images on your memory card to select any of these:

    image Delete

    image Slide Show

    image Rotate Tall

    image DPOF Print Order

    image Protect

    image Rating

    image D-Lighting

    image Resize

    image Crop

    image Edit Movie

    Delete

    Choose this menu entry and you’ll be given four choices: Delete Selected Images, Select Images By Date, Delete All Images, and Discard. (See Figure 8.2.) To delete only some pictures, choose Delete Selected Images and you’ll see an image selection screen like the one shown in Figure 8.3. Then, follow these instructions:
