Exercise 1.2: Viewing the Media Files

An editing system with multiple drives (or Unity workspaces) may have media for the same project spread across different drives. In this exercise, you’ll modify a bin to show the drive that media is on, and then reveal the media to see the file directly.

1. Open LESSON 1 > LESSON 1.

2. Add the DRIVE column if it is not already available in the bin view.

3. Note the drive on which the green clip, 0209A02 WHERE AM I?, is located.

4. Right-click the clip and click REVEAL FILE to identify the media file(s) associated with this clip.
