The very first bullet or paragraph of your Profile/Experience section should act as an umbrella over your specific skills. It gives the reader a snapshot of where you’re coming from and what type of strengths and abilities you will bring to the new position.

Begin your Profile/Experience section with that umbrella statement about overall skills and industry knowledge that best match the type of work you’re seeking.

These might be analytical skills (production line setup, systems, or familiarity with specific equipment) or communication skills (written, speaking, reporting, or creating graphs and charts).
