Finishing the Sequence
You worked with dual-roller overwrite trimming. Use that tool to finish the sequence Lesson 05 Overwrite trim.Copy.01.
1. In the MY SEQUENCES bin, duplicate the LESSON 05 OVERWRITE TRIM. COPY.01 sequence. Name the new copy RTS OVERWRITE TRIM. Open the sequence.
2. Make sure the Smart tool has only the red OVERWRITE TRIM button turned on.
3. Move the position indicator to the four short video segments over the end of the first narration segment. Press H to focus the Timeline on that area of the sequence.
4. Select the transition point between the MAUR, MAN WITH STICK and MALI, CAMEL segments. Make sure the selection is dual-roller (pink with both sides selected). Trim the transition point left –23 frames so the shot ends right as the narrator says “As unpredictable…” and the man with the stick dips down his head.
