Modifying Keyboard Shortcuts

In this section, you’ll re-create the keyboard shortcuts from the Training User settings. This is also a great way to learn the Training User shortcuts as you rebuild them.

1. Open the SETTINGS tab of the current project.

2. Create and name a new user profile with your first name and Training in the title (e.g., Mary’s Training User).

3. Open the Command palette and the Keyboard window.

4. Reassign the following commands to the key suggested:

Smart tool toggle = Tab

Link Selection = Shift+Tab

Toggle Source/Record = Escape

Toggle Source/Record in Timeline = Tilde (~)

Replace = Shift+B

Match Frame = N

Find Bin = Shift+N

Add Edit = Shift+C

Top = Shift+I

Tail = Shift+O

Extend Edit = Semicolon (;)

Fast Forward = Up Arrow
