Building the Desktop Application

To start building the desktop application, we need to add the necessary references:

  1. Open Visual Studio 2010 and start a new project. Choose a WPF Application template and select the location for your project. Name the project SalesManagement. Your screen should appear similar to Figure 16-1.

  2. Reference Lync assemblies. Right-click References and click Add Reference. On the Browse tab, navigate to the location shown in Figure 16-2.

  3. Add the assemblies highlighted in Figure 16-3.

  4. Add the Exchange Web Services Managed API. The assemblies can be found in the location shown in Figure 16-4.
