Chapter 12 shows you how to use the Exchange Web Services (EWS) to implement a custom messaging application. Chapter13 explains how to implement a custom Lync application. You will embed the Lync controls in a custom WPF application. You'll also pass contextual information in the Lync conversation and use Lync automation to embed the complete UI experience in your custom application.
