About the Technical Reviewer

Steve Dawson is the Technology Director of the Emerging Experiences group at Razorfish. He collaborates with a cross-functional team of strategists and designers to bring innovative and engaging experiences to life using the latest technologies.

As the technical director of the Emerging Experiences group, Steve led the technology effort to launch the first Microsoft Surface solution worldwide and has deployed more than 4,000 experiences in the field for a variety of clients utilizing emerging technology.

In addition to supporting client solutions, Steve is responsible for R&D efforts within Razorfish related to emerging technologies – surface computing, augmented reality, ubiquitous computing, computer vision and gestural interface development using Kinect for Windows. His recent work with the Kinect platform has been recognized and praised by a variety of media outlets including Wired, FastCompany, Mashable and Engadget. Steve is active on the conference circuit, most recently speaking at E3 and SXSW.
