Project Setup and Dependency Management
After STS is installed, we can create a project and start development. STS provides a number of template projects with preconfigured settings and dependencies. In STS, choose File New
Spring Template Project, and a list of available template projects will be presented for your selection. Figure A-16 shows the available template projects as of version 2.8.1.

Clicking the project name presents you with a brief description of the purpose of the project.
Create a Simple Spring Utility Project
Let's create a simple project. Choose the Simple Spring Utility Project template, and click Next. Then enter the project information, as shown in Figure A-17.
