Creating a VM
As we discussed in the Planning section, there are several ways to create VMs, and each method has its purpose. Methods such as the VM Creation wizard involve more effort than deploying a VM from a template, but the wizard offers us more control over the resulting VM.
We need to first address the tasks required to create a VM, and then we’ll move into how to clone and template the VM so that your deployments are a bit quicker in the future. In this section we’ll cover:
