Six Months

When the baby is six months or older, you may not get more than an hour with him. Babies of this age are working hard at playing, being alert, and having fun with you. They’re working so hard that after an hour or so, they are exhausted, and they show this by getting crabby! Signs that a baby is sleepy include pulling on the ears and/or hair, rubbing the eyes, or grunting. The best time to schedule this shoot is when the baby has just woken up from a nap and has eaten. (Really, this advice is the same for any age.)
