What Can They Do?

Many of these devices can serve as a backup for your memory cards. I’ve got Apple’s camera connection kit, and can offload my pictures to my iPad’s 64GB of memory, then upload them to Flickr or Facebook, or send to anyone through e-mail. My iPad also makes a perfect portable portfolio, too. I have hundreds of photos stored on mine, arranged into albums (see Figure 9.2) ready for instant display, either individually, or in slide shows. I have the same photo library on my iPod Touch, and more than a few pictures available for showing on my dumb old smart phone.
