Color Theory

Color theory involves the way color affects the meaning and feelings behind visual art. For example, we often associate blue as a cool color and red as a hot color. We also know that mixing different colors within a single image can create tension or harmony.

Color theory is pretty broad. You may have learned about primary colors and the color wheel in grade school. You can use many of those concepts in your photography to make stronger images.
