Summary
The Agile was born in 2001 when a group of experts got together in Utah to draft what is now known as the Agile Manifesto, the focus of which is on the software development side.
As a complement to the Agile Manifesto, another group of experts came together in 2005 to draft another document called the PM Declaration of Interdependence (DOI), the emphasis of which is on the project management side.
