Image Forensics

While the shooting may be over by the time you get to your image editor, there’s still a lot you can learn about exposure and shooting once you get into postproduction. Paying close attention to the metadata for your image can help you understand why certain problems may have occurred.

In Bridge, you can see the metadata of the currently-selected image by simply looking in the Metadata panel (Figure 13.34). By default, the Metadata panel is open when you use the Essentials layout. You can open it in any other layout by choosing Window > Metadata.
