As stated earlier, whether or not you use Bridge, the concepts presented in this chapter should give you an idea of what a digital photo workflow typically looks like. While you might do it slightly (or entirely) different, you’ll probably have some version of these steps.

Note that the rating and metadata steps are tasks that don’t necessarily happen at any particular time. You might find yourself frequently changing ratings, adding more metadata, or changing your metadata taxonomy. With good software, it’s easy to make these changes at any time when you handle your images.
