Can you consistently draw a paying audience to your shows? Once you can draw a crowd, can you sustain those numbers at every show you play? Never underestimate the importance of a consistent draw; solid audience numbers mean you are reaching people and entertaining them, and they want to come back for more. Concert promoters only want one thing—a guaranteed number of ticket sales for any given show. Can you honestly approach a promoter and say that you can guarantee X number of people at every show you do? Look again at Brad’s email. Brad’s band has no audience, so what bar or club owner is going to give his band a paying gig?
