DEPLOYING TO AN IOS DEVICE OR EMULATOR

In order to go on to the next step, you need to download the iPhone SDK from http://developer.apple.com. At the time of this writing, the current SDK is version 4.2. If you download a different version, your screens may look slightly different than those shown in this chapter. While the screens in future versions of the SDK may be slightly different, the principles of the instructions should be helpful.

Once you download the SDK, double-click the DMG file and then select Xcode from the window that appears.
